Aquarian Colors

Think turquoise if you want a new look that suits you. Turquoise is the Aquarian color. As mentioned in a previous post, turquoise looks really good on most Aquarians. If you will be buying new clothes this spring and summer consider trying to find something in this color.

But good luck trying to find a selection of turquoise clothes in a store. That's where the internet provides a big advantage. If you know the color and style of what you're looking for, online shopping can be a lot less frustrating than going to the mall.

You may be an Aquarian but not have anything turquoise in your closet. You may find there is some other color that you are naturally drawn to and find yourself wearing most often.

For example, you may be a person that prefers black, thinks they look best in black and find yourself usually wearing black. If so, then Saturn may be very strongly placed and aspected in your chart. Or you may have a few planets in Capricorn (which is ruled by Saturn). Or your rising sign may be in Capricorn. The other possibility is that you may be undergoing a heavy-duty Saturn transit or progression and your black period is temporary.

If on the other hand you are drawn to pastels, pink and pale green than Libra or Venus may figure prominently in your chart.

The following is a list of the best color for each zodiac sign as recommended by Parker's Astrology. Consider the above points when viewing the different signs as color suitability is not based on the Sun sign alone:

Aries - red

Taurus - pink, pale blue and green
Gemini - yellow and most other colors
Cancer - silver grey
Leo - all the colors of the sun from sunrise to sunset
Virgo - navy blue, dark brown, green
Libra - shades of blue from pale to ultramarine; pink and pale green
Scorpio - dark red, maroon
Sagittarius - dark blue, purple
Capricorn - dark gray, black, dark brown
Aquarius - turquoise
Pisces - soft sea-green

Some shopping days work out better than others. Have you ever noticed that sometimes if you are shopping for clothes it is a dreary experience and you end up buying stuff you never wear? Other days you come across a great selection and find very flattering clothes.

I've never actually followed this rule myself, but according to astrology you are more likely to find the most attractive clothes if you wait to shop until the transiting Moon is in good aspect to your Venus or Ascendant. This is especially valid if the transiting Moon is in Taurus or Libra while it makes these aspects in your chart. See the book Basic Predictive Astrology for more information on this.

Meteor or space junk in the sky tonight?

I saw the most incredible sight tonight. It looked like a relatively slow moving meteorite, but much bigger. It was mostly flaming yellow, but a blue green around the edges. It was a fireball, at least thirty or fifty times as large as the largest star I can see from my patio at night. I've seen meteorites in the past but this was nothing like that, it was much much bigger.

This sighting has little relation to the general topic at Aquarian Digest, but it was too outstanding an experience not to report here, especially as it is relates to celestial events.

I've since checked Technorati and have seen three other references to this sighting. One person who saw it was in Oregon, another was in Seattle. I am in Vancouver, Canada. So the object must have been quite large if other people who live 500 miles away also saw it. The Associated Press already has a report about sightings in Oregon.

Please comment if you saw it too!
